The Most Foolish Man In The Bible

The Most Foolish Man In The Bible

The sermon for this week is a return to Thaxter Dickey's series on the best, the worst and a number of other superlatives we can use to describe bible characters and bible truths. While there are several possible candidates for the title, this sermon is about the most foolish man in the bible. Listen and learn how you can avoid being given that title by anyone.

Elders and the Early Writings

Our podcast this week is a little different from most sermons because it includes a well documented history lesson. Have you ever wondered what happened to the organization of the church that we read about in the New Testament and why it's so different from most churches in the religious world today?
With this sermon from 2002, Phil Roberts shows how the apostasy innocently began and although certain Christians were willing to even forfeit their lives for their understanding, a careful inspection of God's word shows they were wrong.
