This week's podcast is a sermon by Thaxter Dickey and he shows us from God's Word that a resolution to become a new person is actually possible! A Letter To You From Peter - Part 3

This week's Podcast is a continuation of last week. This is Part Three, unfortunately Part Two is missing or didn't record because of technical difficulties. The discussion of the First Book of Peter by Phil Roberts is informative enough that it's still useful even though the series is incomplete. The previous lesson concluded at the end of chapter one - this lesson begins in chapter three.

A Letter To You From Peter

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to actually live many years ago during the time of the early church? Have you ever wondered how you would feel if you were sitting there, hearing for the first time the reading of what we know as the book of 1st Peter? This week's sermon podcast is a lesson by Phil Roberts where he preaches in a different way, a way that places you as one of the first recipients of the first letter of the Apostle Peter.

True Blessings: What Are You Thankful For?

The national holiday of Thanksgiving for this year has just past. Were you thankful? What exactly were or are you thankful for? Have you counted your blessings lately? The Antioch Podcast for this week talks about the things we should be thankful for and points out many very important things we may have forgotten.

Phil Roberts is an excellent teacher and as he points out things in his life that he was thankful for - he will draw your thoughts inward for a self examination of our gratitude.

Serve Me Now or Serve Me Later

Our Podcast this week is a very sobering sermon and contains warnings as well as instruction for everyone. Phil Roberts pours his heart out in trying to persuade all who listen to examine their heart. He asks some very pointed questions that serve to cause each one of us to stop and think. His point being that if we fail to stop and think "Now" - we will "Later"!

What Really Happened At Calvary

One of the things we should regularly stop and meditate on or think deeply about is the death of our Lord Jesus. The fact that the only son of the creator of the entire universe was willing to forfeit His life on this earth to provide the opportunity for us to live forever in heaven is amazing!

This interesting sermon by Phil Roberts gives us plenty of things to meditate on as we stop to consider that unfathomable day.

Neither Barren Nor Unfruitful

On the continent of Africa, in the small country of Zimbabwe, lives a quiet yet effective man of God. His ability to teach is demonstrated with this sermon covering II Peter, chapter one, verses one through eleven. His explanation of this passage written by the apostle will help each one of us to be neither barren nor unfruitful.
