When God Speaks

When God Speaks

Our sermon this week is by Gary Wilemon. I've titled his lesson, "When God Speaks" because this is a story of two kings, one good and one bad, and the disaster that follows when they don't listen when God speaks. This is an interesting bible account and as the story unfolds, we understand why it is so important to listen and heed when God speaks.

The Importance Of Being Right

The Importance Of Being Right

Everybody wants to be right regardless of the subject and, in most cases, nobody wants to be wrong or even have it pointed out when they've made a mistake. There are so many different doctrines, concepts, and rules that conflict with each other to the point that common sense tells us everybody can't be right.

With this sermon, Gary Wilemon has a great discussion about being right and how to share what is right with others who have made mistakes.

The Reality Of Bible Stories

The Reality Of Bible Stories

When you speak of things that happened in bible times and are recorded in God's word, do you refer to them as bible stories or as the official accounts of things that actually happened? In this day and time of make believe and virtual worlds that are not reality, do you allow the lines to become blurred when thinking of things the bible has told us about?

This sermon podcast is presented by David Engel, a young college student and member of our country's military that has such an excellent understanding and grasp on the very same problems we all deal with in regard to needing a proper attitude toward God's revelation.

Baptism Now Saves

Baptism Now Saves

I'm convinced that one of the most widely spread falsehoods in the religious world today is the misleading teaching that the act of baptism is not a command and is not important but rather only optional.

This sermon by Thaxter Dickey clearly demonstrates with scripture the importance and necessity of baptism. If this is a subject that has caused you to have questions, listen with an open mind and use this as an opportunity to learn the truth.
